David J. Rosenblum Member
A graduate of Brooklyn Law School, I have in addition to a law degree, earned and B.S. in electrical engineering (cum laude, Tau Beta Pi), a B.S. in mathematics, and an M.S. in applied mathematics. I also have seven years of work experience as a computer programmer. I served as a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) between 1997 and 2000. There, I examined in the Image Processing and Printer Technology areas. In the searching phase of patent examination, I regularly utilized what is still the exclusively in-house patent search software, EAST and WEST. Over the next seven years starting in 2000, I worked as an associate at private law firms in which I specialized in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in the electrical arts. My primary technical area was telecommunications. In 2006, I opened the Law Office of David J. Rosenblum. I am registered to practice before the USPTO, and am a member of the State Bar of New York and the State Bar of Connecticut. I am a certified member of the National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP). Such certification is voluntary, and the NAPP does not endorse or warrant the services of its members.
